UL iQ for Appliance and Special Use Switches includes products covered under the following categories

Component – Special Use Switches UL 1054 (WOYR2)
This covers materials that have been tested in accordance with established methods to define their properties in order to facilitate investigation of their use in end-use product applications. ANSI/UL 94 small-scale test data does not pertain to building materials, furnishings and related contents. ANSI/UL 94 small-scale test data is intended solely for determining the flammability of plastic materials used in the components and parts of end-product devices and appliances, where the acceptability of the combination is determined by UL.
Component - Appliance Switches UL 61058-1 (WOYR2)
This search covers mechanical and electronic switches for nonindustrial use, evaluated to UL 61058-1 the standard for Appliance Switches . UL 61058-1 is harmonized to CSA, IEC and EN and includes North American national differences that do not reduce it’s acceptance in by other IEC standards. The endurance cycles indicated in the individual Recognitions indicate the number of cycles completed with a temperature rise less than 30°C (suitable for use in traditional UL end-product standards) and cycles completed with a temperature rise less than 55°C (suitable for use in UL end-product standards harmonized to IEC standards). The final acceptance of the component is dependent upon its installation and use in complete equipment submitted to Underwriters Laboratories.
Component - Tool Switches UL 6059 (WKKY2)
This search covers mechanical and electronic switches for use only in Tools, evaluated to UL 6059. This is a part 2 outline of investigation used in conjunction with UL 61058-1 with particular requirements for switches for tools. The endurance cycles indicates the number of cycles completed suitable for use in tools evaluated to UL 60745.
