Resistance Wire.

Rating

90 deg C, 250 Vac, Horizontal flame, Moisture Resistant 60 deg C.

Conductor

Resistance Wire. Nickel, copper alloy or copper, size varies -

Insulation

PVC, 60 mils min average, 54 mils minimum at any point.

Shield

Copper braid consisting of bare copper. Combination of strand size and number and strands such that braid is equivalent to 18 AWG.

Covering

Extruded nylon in 3 mils minimum thickness.

Standard

Appliance Wiring Material UL 758.

Marking

General. The conductor alloy designation shall be included in ohms per foot rating (optional marking).

Use	Thermoplastic insulated resistance wire for heating cable units where exposed to temperatures not exceeding 90 deg C; moisture resistant 60 deg C. The conductor alloy designation shall be included in ohms per foot rating (optional marking).
