AssemblyTwo conductors, The resistance wire is spirally wound around the insulated conductor, having the insulation alternately removed from approx 1/4 in. The AWG size and number of turns per inch will determine the watts per ft of the completed heating cable. The resistance wire is soldered to the exposed bare conductor.
JacketExtruded TPE, 25 mils min average, 20 mils minimum at any point. See facing page for compound.
