Style 20592 Multiconductor cable with optional extruded non-integral covering.

Rating250 deg C, 600 Vac, Horizontal flame.
Conductor18 AWG - 10 AWG stranded.
InsulationPFA, Inner Insulation - 15 mils minimum average, 12 mils minimum at any point. Web not specified; Outer Insulation - 20 mils minimum average, 16 mils minimum at any point.
AssemblyTwo conductors, same as type SPT-1. The assembly is prepared for the spiral wound heating element by carefully removing the insulation along the length so as to bare the conductor for approx 0.5 in widths at periodic intervals. The resistance wire is then carefully wound the length of the core and may be soldered to the exposed conductor. By varying the distance between contacts with the conductors, the number of turns per inch of resistance wire and the AWG size (resistance) of the spirally wound wire, different wattages per foot per service voltage can be obtained. Insulation is built with an Inner layer, heating element, and Outer layer, optional shield, and optional covering.
ShieldOptional.
CoveringOptional - PFA, 13 mils minimum at any point.
