AssemblyTwo conductors; The resistance wire is spirally wound around the insulated conductor, having the insulation alternately removed from 0.125 in to 0.75 in. The AWG size and number of turns per inch will determine the watts per ft of the completed heating cable. The resistance wire may be soldered to the exposed conductor.
