Wet rated cable shall use RC QMTT2 suitable for a minimum 60 deg C water resistance, or if proprietary water resistant PVC compound is used, see Facing Page for compound designation.
AssemblyTwo circuit conductor and one grounding conductor. Length of lay of insulated conductors shall not exceed the maximum specified in for Type SJT Cord.
ShieldOver one or more insulated conductors, copper 85% minimum coverage employing 36-34 AWG strands. Alternatively, Aluminum Foil 100% coverage over the black and white conductor and 30% minimum coverage of a braided copper shield, 36-34, over the foil.
