Conductor22 AWG - 16 AWG. 22 AWG consists of 8 strands 35 AWGr plus 2 strand 31 AWG. No. 18 AWG consists of 16 strands 30 AWG. 20 AWG consists of 10 strands 30 AWG.
InsulationNominal 30 mils wall extruded PE and nominal 15 mils wall of extruded PVC.
AssemblyFifteen conductors, Nos. 1, 2 & 3 - 8 strands
35 AWG plus 2 strands
31 AWG. Nos. 4, 5, 6, 7, 14 & 15 - No. 18 AWG (16 strands #30 AWG). Nos. 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, & 13 - No 20 AWG (10 strands #30 AWG). Nos. 1, 2 & 3 - Nominal 30 mils wall extruded PE covered by a closely braided shield of No. 36 AWG. Over the shield a nominal 30 mils wall of extruded PVC shall be applied. Nos. 4, 5, 6, 7, 12 & 13 - Nominal 30 mil wall of extruded PVC. Nos. 8, 9, 10, 11, 14 & 15 - Nominal 15 mil wall of extruded PVC. Twisted together with a lay of approximately 5-1/2 inches. Conductors 4, 5, and 6 shall be located on the opposite side of the cable from 7, 12 and 13.
