Style 2437 Multiple-conductor cable using non-integral jacket.

Rating60 deg C, 300 Vac, FT2 flame.
ConductorTinsel conductors composed of six strands, each strand having two flattened cadmium copper wires (rolled from 40 AWG wire). The two flattened cadmium copper wires shall be wound around a Polyester yarn core and all six strands cabled around a center core of Polyester yarn. Conductor covered with a braid of nylon or cotton.
InsulationExtruded PVC, 15 mils minimum average thicknes, 13 mils minimum thickness at any point.
AssemblyFour tinsel conductors, Same as for Type SVT, but with a lay of twist conductor opposite in direction to the direction in which the helical cord is wound. The cord is heat treated while coiled in a helical shape on a mandrel. When the helix is stretched out and released, the cord returns to its helical form because of the elasticity of the jacket.
JacketExtruded PVC, 30 mils minimum average thickness, 24 mils minimum thickness at any point.
