Style 2888 Multple-conductor cable using non-intergral jacket

Conductor16 AWG minimum solid or stranded round, tinned or bare copper.

AssemblyTwo, Style 5158 conductors with metal crimps spaced at Assembly specified intervals are laid parallel. The metal crimps so located so that there is equal distance between crimp of opposite conductor. The heating element is spirally wound over this assembly and spot-soldered to the crimps. The jacket and braid is then applied over the assembly.
BraidCopper braid consisting of No. 36 AWG minimum bare or tinned copper providing a closely woven braid.
JacketETFE, 16 mils min average, 12 mils minimum at any point.
Misc.Heating Element - Copper alloy, Nichrome or other suitable resistance wire element spirally wound around the insulation; size and number of twins dependent upon wattage demand.
