Style 2982 Multiple-Conductor Cable Using Non-Integral Jacket

Rating60 deg C, 30 Vac, Cable flame.
ConductorMinimum 40 AWG, solid or stranded round, tinned or bare copper.
InsulationSolid or cellular FRPE or PE or PVC or XLPE or XLPVC, 5 mils minimum thickness at any point, 100 mils maximum thickness at any point.
AssemblyTwo to ten conductors insulated singles laid parallel to form flat cable.
ShieldOptional. Conductive thermoplastic (PVC) Shield, if used, may form a web between conductors under jacket and will include a drain wire covered by thermoplastic shield that may appear as edge conductor.
JacketPVC, 30 mils minimum average thickness, 24 mils minimum thickness at any point. Maximum 1/2 inch web width. May be irradiated.
