ConductorTinsel conductors composed of six strands, each having two cadmium copper ribbons, (rolled from No. 40 AWG wire). The two cadmium copper ribbons shall be wound around a Fortesan yarn core and all six strands cabled around a center core of Fortesan yarn.
InsulationExtruded SRB/NR, 15 mils min average, 13 mils minimum at any point.
AssemblyTwo conductors, same as type SV Cord, but with a lay of twist opposite in direction to the direction in which the helical cord is wound.
JacketExtruded NR - NEOPRENE, 30 mils min average, 24 mils minimum at any point. The cord is vulcanized while coiled in a helical shape on a mandrel. When the helix is stretched out and released, the cord returns to its helical form because of the elasticity of the jacket.
