Conductor | Tinned, tinsel conductors, each composed of six strands, each strand having two cadmium copper ribbons (rolled from No. 40 AWG wire). The two tinned cadmium copper ribbons shall be wound around a rayon or polyester yarn and all six strands cabled around a center core of rayon or polyester yarn. A cotton or polyester knit separator is provided between the conductor and insulation. |

Jacket | Extruded NR - NEOPRENE, 30 mils minimum average thickness, 24 mils minimum thickness at any point. The cord is vulcanized, while coiled in a helical shape on a mandrel. When the helix is stretched out and released, the cord returns to its helical form because of the elasticity of the jacket. |
